- Amazing experience!, I loved the whole thing.The welcome Milonga dancing to live music in a beautiful venue was great way to start. The teaching venue was perfect, l loved the central area where everyone could mingle and dance. The classes were great I especially enjoyed Maria Ines Bogado & Sebastian Jimenez's classes. Great performances at the Friday and Saturday Milonga.

- This was one of the best festivals ever. The large Australian contingent present showed that NZ tango festivals earn tourist dollars just like adventure activities at Queenstown. Julia and I enjoyed the festival - and picked up quite a number of new moves. Argentine teaching is as ever effective.

- Thank you for organising a beautiful festival in 2011, which I have enjoyed so much and will definitely be back next year. You have a very picturesque and lively city. People were kind and very friendly all the way. Next year will stay longer, to do immersions after, as well as sight seeing.
- The festival was fantastic and everything was well organised with a very friendly atmosphere, I wished I stayed longer to do the last immersions, then see the city. Well I am on for next year.
- Both DJs played beautiful music, on the Bollywood night , they played some Indian or Arabic flavor tango, which I loved.
- We were initially very disappointed not to be able to go to Alicia Pons’ immersion course but we transferred to Fabio and Ana’s course instead –and it was really the best three days of tango training we have every attended. So thank you for all your work over the years.

- To the organisers and all the helpers, how you were able to rescue this festive from the ashes of the Chilean volcano I have no idea but what a wonderful festival, thank you very much, I am still glowing from the warmth you all radiated.
- I have now returned to Marlborough from the Tango festival in Wellington. I just wanted to say, I had a wonderful weekend at the Tango festival and I enjoyed all of the second step classes.
- My feet were sore at the end of each day but I learnt so much from each class that I danced. Thank you to all of the dance partners I danced with. Didn't we do well!
- I also want to say....Thank you for all of the hard work you put into the festival. I understand a lot of the work is in the planning of the festival and it all coming together for the week.
- The immersion course was one of the best features of your festival. Being able to focus on specific tango dance skills with a dance partner and with such skilled teachers as Adriana and Fernando was just what I needed.... The immersion course was a perfect way to start the festival for me.
- I loved the yoga sessions each morning and in fact this was an absolute highlight of the festival. It was great to get my body tuned for movement through the yoga session and Stella was just that; a shining star. Next festival I will book into yoga every morning!
- The venue for the festival was perfect- the dance complex couldn't be better. I particularly enjoyed the separate area for coffee/food. This enabled people to meet up, talk, or just sit in a comfortable area to eat/sleep or day dream. At one point in the festival I sat with a group of women from Christchurch listening to a performer sing Leonard Cohen songs with all of us in tears, moved by the singing and the words of the song, all of us drinking hot chocolate!"
