Free Tango Therapy Class with Ian and Cheryl

Saturday 2nd July 2016 10 - 11am

Therapeutic Tango helps develop cognitive skills like dual tasking, since a dancerís attention must be divided between navigation and balance.

Thereís always a lifting of mood, a loosening of gait, an ease of movement by the end of the class, and this is enhanced with continued practise.

Partners and caregivers are encouraged to join in, enhancing connection and wellbeing. Our classes are open to people of all abilities and ages.

Therapeutic Tango benefits people with neurological conditions, cardio-vascular conditions, arthritis and Alzheimerís.

The touch of others, the rhythm of the music, and the novelty of the experience all contribute to the beneficial effects.

Therapeutic Tango complements existing drug treatments.
